He is a cockapoo (cocker spaniel and standard poodle mix) and although we liked Lucy's suggestions of "Gunny" and "Tuesday" for a name, we have decided he looks like a Howard. We really like him and he doesn't shed! Welcome to the family pup.

Oh my! We had a cockapoo mixed with a dachshund. We called her Roxie Doxie Cockapoo. We had her for like 10 years. She was a great dog! your kids are going to love him! And you are right he does look like a Howard!
My grandma had a cockapoo named Georgie Girl and she was such a good dog around kids. I think Howard is cute!
No shedding? My kind of dog. :)
BTW, I like Tuesday. I may just steal it for future pets. :)
