A Ballet Class Valentine Party

Seeing these three and four year old little ladies share valentines with one another was one of the sweetest things I have seen in a long time. Lucy looked at each valentine with magic in her eyes as she showed it to me and pointed out what colors were on it and if it had a butterfly or a kitty on it.

Lucy with her loot. She loved putting her valentines in her box. We made it out of a wipes container and she thought having the lid pop up to insert the cards in was amazing.

At home she had to assess all of her many great treasures. She has played with her valentines every day since. Oh what simple joys we are reminded of when we look at life through the eyes of a child.
