Come visit me! No, I'm kidding (although we are just a half an hour away and would love to see if you if you wanted to make the time, but you probably won't have a car.) ANYWAY, are you going just to Magic Kingdom or to California Adventure, too? I can give you some great places to take kids in C.A. if you're doing both. If you're just going to Magic Kingdom then it's pretty easy to figure out what's good for kids. If the like animals don't miss the Jungle Cruise near the Indiana Jones ride. My girls love that one. If you have other questions I might be able to help, you can always email me! Have so much fun!

I'm going to suggest leaving the park for naps. If you're taking advantage of the hotel's free shuttle to Disneyland, know that the drop off and pick ups are way out in the boonies and during certain hours of the day they only pick up every hour. Personally, I would rent a car so that you have the freedom to come and go whenever you want to. Also, food in the park is really expensive so if you're going to be there all day, consider going out of the park to Downtown Disney for some meals. The Monorail drops you off there. And... most of the rides have parent passes so that one of you can stay with the kids while the other rides, and then they come right off and hand you the pass so that you can go right back on withought waiting in line.

California Adventure is had more thrilling rides and there's a lot more for adults there. If you do plan on going to Ca Adventure, the Bugs Life section is REALLY fun for kids...but that's the only real kid friendly area. I don't think it would be worth footing the bill for Ca Adventure if you're just going for the kids. If you can have someone watch them, you and Marc would have a blast there but if it's a trip for the kids...stick to Disneyland. The new finding Nemo submarine ride is REALLY awesome and so memorizing!! Be sure to go on that one...and of course Dumbo, Peter Pan, the Teacups...aaahhhhh I LOVE Disneyland!!! ALSO...they just redid It's a Small World!!! It's sooooooo cool and a REALLY LONG ride, it's also really loud but it's so much fun!! They incorporated all the princesses. HAVE SO MUCH FUN!!! OH!! FAST PASSES!!! You go to the fast pass place (usually at the exit of the ride) and insert your ticket and you're given a fast pass that'll tell you a time to return and you don't have to wait in line!!! They're the best!! You can only have one fast pass out at a time but it's so worth it...no lines!!! Can't wait to see pics!!

Google for advice. When I went last I read an article about strategizing the rides according to fast passes and the electronic system the parks are on. I don't remember now what we did, but we didn't have to wait in many lines, so it was a success!

-fast passes
-ride max (creates itineraries for you with shortest wait time in line based on what rides you choose)
-dole whips (by the indiana jones ride in adventure land)
-the little chocolate shop at the exit of splash mountain (chocolate & caramel covered pretzels are to die for)
-toon town for lucy (there is a little playground that is so fun for kids who are sick of waiting in lines)
-the show at the golden horseshoe-- it is seriously hilarious and such a fun break from standing and running from ride to ride. really, go.

that's all i can think of right now. i LOVE disneyland, and i hope you guys have so much fun.

Sneak food in to eat and keep you going throughout the day. The food there is so expensive! Have fun!!!!

Have fun, and make it easy for yourself. If you only have 1 day in each park, don't try to spend too much time leaving to get cheaper food. Parking is hassle and you lose time. And hopefully you're going with family/friends so you can have someone watch your kids if you want to go on rides they can't go on.
