Opening Ceremonies

They asked Mommy to say the opening prayer at The Opening Ceremonies for Utah's Special Olympics. This meant that we got to be right in the middle of all the action!
This is me right on the baseball field. I loved watching all the athletes and I danced to all the fun music they played.
I even got to meet some very interesting looking humans.
I was a little concerned about why this bear wanted to kiss my Mommy's cheek.
And I really didn't like this guy named Cosmo. Mommy and Daddy hope it is not a sign of things to come. They said something about me needing to bleed blue when I am older-I will have to think about that one.
This is one of my Mom's students, Katie. She was very nice. Lots of my Mommy students helped to plan the ceremony. They did a great job.
I was just fascinated by the whole thing (and I think my Daddy liked to be in the dugout).
Oh and Mommy was also excited that she got to meet Bob and Randy Harmon! ;)

I have always thought that Cosmo was a little scary, but I got over it, so I'm sure that Lucy will too. BYU Football Rules!
