It's a Memory

My friends, Christine and Ani, have this post and I had a good time sharing memories with them. I'd love to walk down memory lane with all of you. So here are the rules (feel free to do it about Marc, Me, Hailey, Melia, Lucy or any any combination there of):

Here's how to play:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together.
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

Okay Katie, so you already mentioned some of the most fun memories I have with you. I LOVED freshman year in the dorms! I remember you giving me a haircut and how always had the best shampoo (and the prettiest hair). I remember when we all went to watch "That Thing You Do" and quoted it way too much afterwards. And of course that time we predicted our futures we (who has that list anyway?) You were the funniest friend I had and you could always make me laugh!

Hmmm, there are so many memories that it is hard to choose. I remember this one time, we stayed up way past midnight. Then there was that one time when we were in the car and you were driving and I was starting to tell you about a dream, so I said, "last night I had this dream..." and you ran a stop sign right as I said that, so I finished it with, "that you just ran that stop sign." Then there was that time that we went to wash your car in the wind tunnel and it was like -25 degrees outside that night.

I have lots of memories of you coming to my classroom to observe. I always felt really lucky that I was one of the ones that got YOU to be my university supervisor.

I remember the time you came to my class and we talked about birth control and when you were going to be ready to get pregnant (I already was). I remember feeling so grateful that you were a friend that I could talk to as well as my teacher. You really are SO good at what you do, Katie.

You were such a great teacher! My favorite. I remember once I got sick and emailed you that I would probably not make it to class, and I ended up coming. You came over to me and were so concerned and it really made me realize that you cared about us!
I also remember how excited and happy you were to get married!

yeah...I'll never forget the day after you got engaged and you told all of us. i was having a hard time with the whole probation thing and I was second guessing if college was even right for me. you totally bore your testimony about how the Lord knows us and we need to rely on him and his timing. I know it was about marc and the whole engagement but it really stuck out to me. you were always pushing me to do better and you always stood up for me. I can't thank you enough because i know I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing...I wouldn't be a teacher if it weren't for you!

I remember LOVING every one of your classes and being so impressed at how prepared you were. I remember you bought me birthday cheesecake in Baltimore! YUM! I remember hiking with you in St. George and driving the van through the mud!

You are fantastic!

Two words....SWAMP TOUR! Good old New Orleans pre-katrina. I loved meeting the locals with you, driving around like mad trying to find a "snowie" laughing at melissa country dancing with that 80 year old, and, oh yeah, going to a couple sessions of the CEC conference. :)
