Katie! How are you? I just found your blog on Danica's. Everything is good here. Just working at a high school here and I just won first year teacher of the year for my school! Anyways, that about it!
I feel your pain! (speaking from nine months of that) I am SURE that Lucy will be much better, though. :-) You're right. She is adorable, and it really does help during those long nights and the even longer days that follow!
gotta love those nights. was she sick or just wanting to be awake? i will keep my fingers crossed that tonight will be MUCH better-- mommies and babies are so much happier when they can get some sleep.
I hope you napped when she did! And I hope she's not a repeat offender. I've got a couple of those. Luckily it usually only lasts a couple nights. Scriptures however, always do the trick for me too!
Happy to report, Lucy slept very well last night. I have to say-she did give us some pretty good laughs when she was in her "lack-of-sleep" state. At about 6am we put her in her swing and she was just laughing and raising her arms up high. We on the other hand, were not near as chipper.

Good thing she has figured out the perfect moment to pull out the sweetest little giggle or smile to make it all worth it!
